This morning we took a family walk with the dog all around the arch and waterfront.
We checked out of our downtown hotel and headed towards the Delmar Loop. This area has a ton of neat places to eat and is a great place to walk around. The Moonrise Hotel was incredible if you have pets traveling with you.
A short walk to lunch led us to Mission Taco. I was on the verge of being hangry and this cured me!
We set off for the zoo after our lunch…
For dinner we walked to Salt + Smoke. We discovered that Saint Louis has a ton of places to eat BBQ. Love!!!
Union Station Hotel has a really cool light show every hour, on the hour. The one we saw was The Beatles. We really liked ending our busy day this way. The hotel is beautiful with a neat outdoor area too.
This morning we walked around Washington University and Forest Park. This is right down the street from Moonrise Hotel. We loved this area!
We were supposed to go to the Cubs/Cardinals game today, but it was postponed until tomorrow due to rain so we drove downtown for lunch and to visit the City Museum. Sugarfire was a great lunch spot and Beckett worked up a sweat at the City Museum.
Our dinner spot was another short walk from the Moonrise Hotel: Fitz’s
Game Day! We checked out of our room at Moonrise and checked in to the Hilton at the Ballpark. Turns out, they love dogs here too and this might be our favorite place we stayed. Everyone knows Cubbie in Saint Louis now!
The rooftop bar, 360, is our favorite place in the world…
The baseball theme is all throughout this hotel!
Finally, time for the game and it did not disappoint. Our seats were in the sun on a 60 degree day and the Cubs pulled out the victory. It is the second best game we have ever attended. Beautiful ballpark here!!!
Wrapping up our trip with a swim, some soaking in the hot tub and a trip to the frozen yogurt bar in our hotel.
